Winemakers Barbara Hall, our winemaker, has a Bachelor of Science Biochemistry (major in wine and plant) from the University of British Columbia Okanagan and extensive knowledge of the BC wine industry itself. She brings with her a passion which is reflected in our wines. Barbara's work with our vineyard manager and our growers ensures that we have access to grapes of the highest quality.
Elias Phiniotis, Ph.D., our oenologist, is behind the scientific side of Domaine de Chaberton. Born in Pera-Pedhi, Cyprus, he comes from a long line of wine makers and grape growers. Elias has been with Domaine de Chaberton since 1991.
This team works closely with proprietor Anthony Cheng to develop and blend all of our red wines.
