Winemakers

Elias Phiniotis, Ph.D., is behind the scientific side of Domaine de Chaberton. Born in Pera-Pedhi, Cyprus, he comes from a long line of wine makers and grape growers. Elias has been Domaine de Chaberton's consulting winemaker since 1991.

He and his team work closely with owner Anthony Cheng to develop and blend all of our red wines. Variances in the type of grape varietal, the age and type of oak barrel used can ultimately affect the outcome of our wines.
